Multi-Factor Authentication options

Multi-Factor Authentication options

While app authentication is the default MFA option in 'Here to help u', we have got a few other options you can use. These are easy to find when you are logging in for the first time. From the homepage, click on the Sign In button in the top right-hand corner.

...

This opens up a modal which shows you all the MFA options available.

...

If you choose the Phone or SMS option for example, it will either ask you to add your phone number, or, if you already have a phone number added, you will be taken to a screen like this

...
Following the on-screen instructions, you will receive and then input the code need for authentication. Sign in complete!

Once you are signed in, you will be able to see the My Account menu item instead of the Sign In button when visiting the homepage. My Account opens up a dropdown, which includes links to each provider or connector account you have access to.

When your session expires

If you have recently signed in but your session has expired (meaning it still knows who you are, but wants you to re-authenticate to be safe) 'Here to help u' will try to get you to use its default method: App Authentication. If you want to use a different method, will have to first Sign out using the link in the dropdown.

Once signed out, you will see the Sign out button that you started with so that you can select any MFA method.

'Here to help u' is a community-led effort. Many organisations have united to bring you this initiative.
